Poster Boards are 4 feet high by 8 feet across. Please bring pushpins to mount your poster. Font size should be large enough to be readable.

Please plan to arrive 15-30 minutes early to set up your poster. Smadar Levin award applicants should plan to be available throughout the session and may be asked to be available for 30 minutes after the poster session on Thursday night.

Oral presentations

All members of a session should be present at least 15 minutes before the scheduled starting time. The slides of all members should be arranged before then, and the order coordinated. Please make sure to forward your slides to the discussant before the conference, if your session includes a discussant.

Times for the talks will vary slightly; please be careful to note the time allotted in the program. Please allow time for questions and discussion!!

We will be supplying computers for powerpoint presentations and an LCD projector as well as microphones.

If you need any other type of AV equipment, including overhead or videotape equipment, please email Dick Steffy at steffy@watserv1.uwaterloo.ca.

HOTEL INFORMATION: The SRP 2003 convention will be held at the Toronto Marriott Eaton Centre Hotel in downtown Toronto, Ontario from October 16 to 19, 2003. Members will see a description of the advantages to this site in the next SRP Newsletter.

For hotel reservations, the group rate provides single or double bed rooms from the 16th till the 18th at the cost of $199.00 (in Canadian dollars). Please call the hotel at 1-800-905-0667 for your booking sometime before September 25th, 2003.

DIRECTIONS / TRAVEL INFO: For those wishing to drive to Toronto, Dick Steffy (steffy@uwaterloo.ca, or phone # (519) 888-4567, extn. 2548) can supply roadway instructions coming into town from any direction.

FLIGHT INFORMATION: With respect to your travel plans, for those flying into Toronto International Airport, one can easily get airport limos or cabs that will take you to the hotel door (525 Bay Street) in approximately 30 minutes (longer if at rush hour) for fees of $40.00. As an alternative, an Airport Shuttle leaves for the downtown every 20 minutes on the hour. Although the shuttle is less expensive ($14.75 one-way, or $21.50 round trip) than the limo,, it travels around to various sites, takes over twice as long as the cab, and doesn't stop directly at the Hotel (exiting a block away at the Delta Hotel).

EXTEND THE LIFE OF YOUR POSTER:

In addition, F1000's expert Faculty of 10,000 members will view these submissions to identify those they wish to select for positive evaluation in the award winning F1000 service.
